Merry Christmas!

A little good news!

Yeah! Peter took third place in the Pinewood Derby this past month! This was a fun surprise because we do not own woodworking tools of any kind! Last year we had a couple neighbors who offered to help the boys with their cars and we took them up on it. This year none of the offers materialized and I thought Sam was joking when we told Peter to meet him in the garage to work on the car. They ended up cutting it with a little hand saw. Anyway it ended up being a fast car and Peter took third place! Way to go Sam!

Sara's good news includes being moved up a level in ballet and her cheer squad taking first place in there competion at the U. They did a great job! They were the highest scoring Jr. High at the competition. They will have one more competition on January 12th and hopefully it will go as well.

Molly is doing a great job of Jr. High. She loves hanging out with friends and is still reading like crazy. She is also a great help with Emma. Molly's life is quite calm this Christmas and it has made me think back to all she did in International Childrens Choir. Looking back I don't know how we did it. It was a lot of fun but also a lot of work, time and driving!

Kate performed in her first play tonight! She did a great job! She was the mother - the two girls with her in the picture were her daughters. She also was knuckles - a mean elf. It was a cute play and I feel lucky to have such a great drama school close.

Now that I have bragged about most my kids - nothing keeps you in reality like a 20 month old. I never can seem to accomplish anything without a million distractions. Emma did not eat anything for 3 weeks and now she is in a phase where all she wants is food. It keeps me busy. I love this picture! Emma came downstairs this morning with dirty underwear on her head! Help! We love the kid! She is a lot of fun and always happy!

We are excited for the Holidays even though Christmas lights didn't get on our house this year and I still have my Christmas decoration boxes in the front room! Anyway Happy Holidays! Amy
